There’s a vibe out here in Lions country that Matt Patricia really isn’t a good head coach, or better yet a fraud pretending to be one of the “big boys” aka smart/savvy coaches of the NFL. Well, here’s something to look at. Smart people don’t follow dumb peoples’ blueprints. In fact they go the complete opposite direction!
In the Lions game against the Chiefs, we at Lionspassion.com saw something and tweeted it out…it got ignored but we were on to something. Take a look…

The thought came to mind as the Lions were giving the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes all types of fits before the Chiefs eventually won the game! (REFs You Suck!)
We remember that coach Bill Belichick thanked the Lions for showing “on film/tape” a way to possibly beat the LA Rams last season, and he used that blueprint and tweaked it to the point the Patriots secured another Superbowl Ring!

Well, apparently when coach Patricia coaches…the NFL coaching staffs bring their pens/pencils/tablets and who ever they can find to decode what’s being done and how to mimic it and avoid any players’ penalties made in said game that he coached.
Don’t believe us, well we present evidence 1W…that’s 1 W as 1 week after the Lions showed the world their version of Belichick’s game plan against this Chiefs high powered offense, the Indianapolis Colts did it and greatly benefitted to the point that Patrick Mahomes said…
“They played man coverage, they rushed with four people and they found ways to get pressure and to cover long enough,” Mahomes said. “For us, Detroit did it last week, (and) New England did it in the playoffs. We’re going to have to beat man-coverage at the end of the day.”
Now every other Lions fans type site is getting on this way of thinking bandwagon, and who knows maybe even Coach Matt Patricia’s critics will have to eat some humble pie with a pencil on top!
Or they’ll try to give the credit to someone else…
