Matthew Stafford Is Ranked 6th And The Lions 11th: Here’s Why
6. Matthew Stafford
Top ten in just about every statistical category and he went toe-to-toe with Pat Mahomes on Sunday and had the better game. Stafford has always been pretty good. Right now he’s playing pretty, pretty good.
Here’s Where 5 NFL Analysts Have The Ranked The Lions After Week 4
After week 4 NFL games, here are how the Lions were ranked…
Sports Illustrated 13th
ESPN 15th
USA Today 4th
CBS Sports 12th
NFL.com 13th
On average that’s ~ 11th overall
Considering the Lions are about to start their NFC North rivalry games after week 5; their bye week, against the Green Bay Packers the season has really starts for them in 2 weeks. The Lions QB has a chance to send his rankings even higher and start to silence a long time knock on him, and that’s his record against teams with a winning record. If Matthew Stafford does this…the league better watch out! You may want to add him to your fantasy football team!
What are your thoughts?
Should Stafford be ranked that high?
Ooooh, so this is why the #Lions paid Stafford all that money. This is RIDICULOUS!
