The Lions lost 34-30 to the Kansas City Chiefs in a game filled with errors, excitement, concern, and hope. Let’s look at the errors (mainly from the REFs)…
Starting on the last scoring play…
Holding on last TD scored by Kansas City
Listen, the Chiefs were probably going to score but this is a hold like 99% of the time and pushes them back to the 11.

There’s no way in the world that KC shouldn’t have been given a penalty on that play…the “REF” is looking right at Snacks being held/pulled over backwards!
Ok, so you say that’s just one play, well what about this Pass INT on the Lions Hail Mary attempt?
There was possible pass interference on the Hail Mary at the end of Lions-Chiefs; the league office opted against a full-blown replay review https://t.co/mzrCGmMj6s

It’s very hard to attempt to catch a pass when you’re being knocked to the ground…in open space for everyone to see, but no call! It’s like, as fans you have to know what players are going to play against an opponent and who are the refs because seemingly both weigh in on the game’s outcome!
Hail Mary Pass INT
Really tough for Marvin Jones to make a play on this ball… #KCvsDET pic.twitter.com/6IFkzcQctz

But wait there’s more! This was earlier in the game
Pass INT…No CALL
I’d like someone to show this clip to the head of the NFL officials and hear their explanation on why this isn’t PI or face mask. If this isn’t PI or a face mask then what is? pic.twitter.com/QX9aiClnLP

The Lions made their share of errors, but even with those they still should have either won this game or had another chance defensively to prevent KC from taking the lead because of the hold on Snacks Harrison or another chance offensively because of the pass interference that happened to Marvin Jones near the KC goal line.
Here are some highlights from the game, after looking at these see why we say for Matthew Stafford and company there was excitement, concern, and hope. (Click Next)
The hope for a Lions winning season and more is building fundamentally and gradually!
