Will The Frank Ragnow Injury Derail The Lions Season?
The Lions’ offensive line played well without Ragnow in the first half. The line didn’t allow a sack or quarterback hit on Matthew Stafford, though the run game only averaged 2.6 yards in the first two quarters.
Although losing Ragnow in the game required an initial adjustment, all that practice with different sets of players on the offensive line paid off.
“I think we’re pretty good on the chemistry part with our whole entire top guys or whatever it is,” Wiggins said. “Other than that, it’s just old hat. I’ve played right guard with Graham and Rick (Wagner) all last year. So it’s nothing new.”...
Being that you have hopefully skimmed through it, this is why I feel this way...I feel like the Lions will not miss a step because of the Frank Ragnow injury too much base off how the Lions may run the offense. I think they will go to a "quick throw" offense to keep defensive lineman from getting significant pressure on Matthew Stafford. They may feature TE TJ Hockensen alot early in the season until Ragnow gets back and that's when running the ball will get into full swing! Tell me if think I'm insane? P.S.
